Our Stand

The pay-to-play divide locks working-class kids off the pitch.

We replaced club fees and tryout walls with public park training, free cleat pantries, and academic accountability.

How we started

Municipal pickups to a foundation

Next Wave began when neighborhood coaches watched private travel clubs price out talented players from working-class city blocks. What started as Saturday morning pickup games on municipal grass evolved into a structured foundation funded by local donors and run by community educators.

Instead of scouting for tuition checks, our sessions tie rigorous athletic drills directly to school attendance and academic check-ins. The pitch is treated as a classroom where discipline, respect, and teamwork are practiced daily.

Field notes

We don't scout for tuition money; we build leaders who show up for their teammates on and off the grass.
